WFL MEETING MONDAY 25TH MARCH 2024 CANCELLED. NEXT MEETING THURSDAY 6TH JUNE 2024 AGM. LEAGUE WINNERS & R-Up trophies will be distributed after the AGM
These instructions take precedence over any other info that has been issued. with regards to player registrations.
You CANNOT play players until you have received back their Photo ID Card
A registered player is one you have with you at the game, and you have their photo ID card to exchange with your opposition.
Managers if a team has players with them some with Photo ID Cards and others with NO ID Cards, the players with NO cards do not play, regardless of what their manager tells you.
If a manager has cards for some players and not others its suspicious, so the League have said time and time again, if some players in attendance have no id cards, those players dont play.
A player is only registered, when the manager has received back the players photo ID card, and the player is approaved on WGS. Putting a registration in the post, or through my door or just on WGS does NOT constitute a registered player. They MUST have their photo ID Card to show the opposition.
This is an order of the Management Committee of The Watford Friendly League and must be complied with. WFL Photo ID Cards must be exchanged before each game, remember no card no play. These are the physical cards issued by the league, not pictures on phones.
This is an order of the Management Committee of The Watford Friendly League and must be complied with. A player is only registered, when the manager has received back the players photo ID card, and the player is approved on WGS. Putting a registration in the post, or through my door or just on WGS or i have not been given it, does NOT constitute a registered player. They MUST have their photo ID Card to show the opposition, remember 1-2 players present with no card means those players don’t play. Any team failing to have their team ID cards with them, will be fined [in accordance with the fines tariff]. And be liable to further measures at the discretion of the Management Committee.
I have received numerous emails regarding registrations, and post it notes on registrations, with regards to collecting in person from my home address. I won’t even respond to these, it is our family home and not acceptable, this is why return envelopes are required.

It is actually an FA regulation under The FA Standard Code of Rules (Youth) Football or SCORY for short for ALL Youth Leagues. All Counties FA's have the same regulations regarding this that are part of Leagues rules (sanctioned by their parent County FA) - that no Club shall wear Black/Dark coloured shirts (This does include a team’s goalkeeper who cannot wear Black/Dark shirt also). The difference between County FA's, is in regards to referees being allowed to wear coloured shirts or not but even if a County FA agree for their referees to wear a coloured referee shirt, this does not then mean that a Club/Team can wear black as this is a completely separate regulation altogether.
The WFL Have adopted to play maximum playing time. ALL matches shall be played as follows.

OR mid-week game where the light is being reduced depending upon KO time, OR afternoon cup game which might go to extra time and depending upon KO time and light might need to reduce playing time.
